We recently purchased the inventory of an auto upholstery shop...these fabrics stretch back to the 1950s.
This piece is really nice. It is much like a regular upholstery fabric and has many uses. It was made for a 1979 Cutlass Supreme Brougham.
The fabric is 56 inches wide and is much like the fabric used to make carpet bags. It is almost heavy enough for a rug if you used a pad to keep it in place. It would look great on a settee. It is in very good condition.
