We recently purchased thousands of rolls of original retro/vintage auto upholstery dating from the 50s to the 80s. There is a huge variety of different kinds of fabric in the lot. Many of them (though not all) are appropriate for general upholstery.
This piece would work for general upholstery though it doesn't have a lot of give.
I don't know what car this was made for though I believe it's from the 1950s.
The fabric is a black background with silver and gold details. The fabric is 65 inches wide and is in good vintage condition.
