We recently purchased thousands of rolls of original retro/vintage auto upholstery dating from the 50s to the 80s. There is a huge variety of different kinds of fabric in the lot. Many of them (though not all) are appropriate for general upholstery.
This piece would work for general upholstery though it doesn't have a lot of give.
I don't know what car this was made for. It's a good looking tweed in the choice of 2 colors. One is white, black and brown thread and there is 1 1/2 yards of this one. The second one is black and gray and there is a few inches shy of 2 yards of this one.
The rolls measures 62 inches wide.
