We recently purchased thousands of rolls of original retro/vintage auto upholstery dating from the 50s to the 80s. There is a huge variety of different kinds of fabric in the lot. Many of them (though not all) are appropriate for general upholstery.
This piece would work for general upholstery though it doesn't have a lot of give.
This fabric was originally made for a 1966 Plymouth. It is a subtle dark red stripe that is 63 inches wide. This is a roll end and there is 1 1/2 yards.

Thrilled to recover my coffee table with this 1966 Plymouth upholstery fabric. All sorts of nostalgia as it's my birth year and my husband's first car. Asked for a swatch and it came quickly!
