We recently purchased thousands of rolls of original retro/vintage auto upholstery dating from the 50s to the 80s. There is a huge variety of different kinds of fabric in the lot. Many of them (though not all) are appropriate for general upholstery.
This piece would work for general upholstery though it doesn't have a lot of give.
This fabric was originally made for a 1973 Ford Ranger XLT. It is a green satin like fabric with a diamond pattern. The fabric is 55 inches wide an the roll end has 1 2/3 yards plus another 29 by 31 inches. This piece of fabric has some flaws...there are spots 2 inches from one edge.
